We can usually help with any software/hardware problems, as well as, any networking, etc.

RECONDITIONING and REPAIRS of all EPSON STYLUS PRO (WIDE-FORMAT) PRINTERS, INK JET PRINTERS (STYLUS), RECEIPT PRINTERS (TM), and DOT MATRIX PRINTERS by
EPSON CERTIFIED TECHNICIANS (the only Stylus Pro and SureColor EPSON certified techs in Oklahoma, Louisiana, or Kansas -- & Southern Missouri). This means we can buy parts directly from EPSON directly. If, for example, you are a professional photographer, or a printer doing color-matching, you don't want just any DX5 printhead from China for your EPSON Professional Printer because EPSON prepares each head (rank ID) for that particular Stylus Pro model's electronics. With a generic printhead your colors will not be true, and all your Color Profiles for your RIP/PREPRESS/PROOFING will have to be changed, just to get close. If, on the other hand, you have an older model Stylus Pro that EPSON no longer supplies parts for, and you have a lot of money invested in Hardware/Software/consumables: Printer, Inks, a RIP, an X-RITE Spectroproofer, Proofing, or PrePress, China may be the only answer for new parts. We do have a stock of NOS parts; e.g., we still have heads for the EPSON Stylus Pro 7600/9600 series, and a lot of used printers in storage that we have to rob parts off, when neither EPSON nor China works. We have over 20 years experience with EPSON printers and we still repair the first EPSON Stylus Pro, wide-format: the SP7000/SP9000. We use only the EPSON supplied support software, that is legally available to only certified technicians, and is absolutely necessary for a proper, well-tested, and complete repair.

We are certified to repair, perform repairs, service, and fix all of your EPSON printers, including your discontinued and legacy EPSON printers. This includes installing drivers, network cards, and networking EPSON plotters and printers.
 

We can repair and fix all of your EPSON printers:

Do you have horizontal and/or vertical banding with the printer?

Is the print produced by the printer blotchy or smudged with extra ink?

Is the print on the printer paper too light to read?

Is the carriage stopping intermittently?

Is your restaurant receipt printer printing half a receipt?

Is your bank receipt printer jamming?

Is the dry cleaning ticket printer printing not cutting properly?

Is the printer just dead?

Call DTECH and we can discuss whether or not the printer / plotter is worth repairing or fixing (at no cost to you). Please be aware that we are not EPSON and we also don't give free support for your EPSON printer: we charge for support. However, you are probably going to spend $50 - $100 minimum for a repair and if the printer is $79.95 brand new, then it is not financially feasible. Some people still love their older printers because they print better than new ones, work with proprietary systems, work with old Macintosh and PC OS's, have lots of dollars invested in ink, etc., so we will attempt to fix these, if you desire. The problem is that parts are not now available (or never were available) and so we have to delve into our supply of used printers to possibly make them work.

It is possible to repair most printers / plotters to work as good as new: the question is, whether or not, the cost is justifiable.

We have a warehouse full of older printers/plotters that can be used to replace or repair your printer. So if your printer or plotter software is mated to legacy hardware, we may be able to provide a like printer or plotter replacement for your particular needs.
